Position : Divisional Manager (Plantation)

Department : Plantation Department

Report to : Plantation Manager

Our client is seeking a number of highly motivated, self-reliant, resourceful oil palm Divisional Manager who have a sense of adventure and who are prepared to live and work in the developing world. Responsibilites:

- Organization and follow-up of plantation maintenance

- Responsible for land acquisition

- Harvesting and organization of the transport to the factory

- Organizing road construction

- Budgeting and budgetary control administration

- Planning and organizing plantation development: extensions or re-plantations

- Maintain good relations with the industrial and finance departments and negotiate with the unions

 

Requirements:

- A Degree in Agriculture Science / Agriculture / Agribusiness / Farming / Forestry or related discipline

- A minimum of 2 years work experience. Evidence of overseas work / travel experience is preferred but not essential

- A strong desire to work with manage people in multicultural context

- The ability to a new environment, improve work practices and embrace change

- The commitment to progress with a career in management

- Experience in an intensive cropping enterprise will be advantage

- Experience with agricultural machinery will be advantage

- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply
